Sketch Fiend?

School has been pretty cool! Have I mentioned how small, cute, and interesting my new students are?

Not that I've forgotten about my other students... I miss them.

But, yeah... the students really like me.

And let me tell you... they show it in various different ways.

Some students are always on top of me... some always grab my hand to simply walk with them... some like playing with me... some ask me to lift them up... some try talking to me... but, for the most part... the biggest indication of how much they like me is how ABUSIVE they are. The more and harder they hit me... the more they like me.

Students have discovered that I like sketching when I'm bored... and are amazed by my sketches... so, they have asked for me to sketch for them.

I've been taking appointment... I practically have like a sketch per day. I don't mind at all though since it gives me something to do when there's nothing for me to do... and seeing the students' excitement makes me happy. I just wish there was a way I could keep the original for my collection... heh heh.

A student specifically... is even going out of the way to assign me homework... WTF, mate?!?

He tells me to take his book home and finish... which I usually don't... -_-

He even gave me an assignment for Golden Week... he told me to finish it by next week. I tried telling him that I wanted to be a bum and do nothing during my break... but, he's so funny and knows how to win me over... so, I have homework for Golden Week... though, I don't see myself doing it... heh heh.

Doing these sketches for the students also gets me noticed by the teachers... which is definitely a good thing.

In other news... I went to my welcome drinking party yesterday... man oh man. I felt so out of place at first. I'm used to these parties being at a bar and very casual.

I show up at a hotel... where everyone is dressed up... and I was there in a polo and jeans. At least some thought I was cool?

But, yeah... they asked the newbies (including me) to give a speech... and I explained how I was embarrassed for the way I was dressed... it got the whole room laughing... so, it was good!

Two of the young teachers that are my age (23 and 24) seem to be interested in me... really cool. They were talking about me and one poked my lovehandles.

I'm used to Japanese people doing that already... and I just stated that I'm fat like I always do. And I was surprised when they actually said it was cute and they loved my smile. They then said that skinny is not cute... chubby was?

::shrugs::

But yeah... it was interesting.

All the teachers attempted in getting me drunk. I managed to not get drunk... but, I did have a good buzz going. I tried to return the favor by making screwdrivers... and they seemed like a success. I made about 10... but, then I realized they weren't really being drunk. They would just take a sip and realize how strong it was... and put it aside. But... I did get the hot teacher drunk!
