The New School Year

The new school year started on Tuesday... and, I'm glad to be back at the same school.

And, to keep things fresh and new... half of the teachers are new... plus, we also have the new first years (which are as small and cute as always... heh heh)

So, this being the first week, not much going on for me. That's my only real complaint.

But, somehow I've actually managed to somewhat keep myself occuppied.

Yesterday I created new English passport things to keep myself busy... plus, it also works since kids won't try to pull a fast one on me and try to use last school year's passport... heh heh.

Today I also created this set of daily expressions and gestures to teach as a warm-up during my fifth and sixth grade classes. I was given a previous list and previous gestures before... but, I feel weird doing some of those gestures since they're not mine. So, I'm actually excited to start from scratch and start creating like Victor clones... since the kids will be imitating my gestures... MWAH HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

But yeah... now that I'm done with that list... and I still have half an hour left of work today... I figured I might as well update this blogamajig thing.

Cherry blossoms are also beginning to bloom. I'm still excited about seeing them... since this is only the second time I see them in person and cherry blossoms, at least for me since I live in Miami, are something that I relate with to Japan. I'm sure that once I've left Japan... if I am ever to see cherry blossoms again, it will remind me of my time here in Japan.

Heh heh... I'm getting nostalgic about my time in Japan already... even though I still am living here...

Anyway... not much else on my mind at the moment I guess. So, with that being said... laterness!
