Is Winter A-Knockin'?

Wow... October has gone by much faster than I could've imagined.

Here I am just beginning the last week right now.

Not only that... but, the temperature has seemed to take a bigger dip than I anticipated. I found myself shivering this morning and not wanting to leave the warmth of my bed and covers. I then realized it was a bright day, so I opened the curtains and basically "sunbathed" while inside of my apartment. Does that even happen?

But, yeah... there was a significant difference in sitting in the sunlight coming through my windows than being anywhere else in my apartment.

Man... I love the cold weather... I really do. But, I don't like it inside of my apartment... especially in the morning when I'm just waking up. I like to sleep in my underwear and be free from the confinement of clothes... I don't want to be bundling up so soon.

Well, the perks that do come from the cold weather is that I don't have to worry about taking multiple baths throughout the day like I did during the summer... nor blast the AC. And, the sooner the cold weather does come... the more likely I'll be able to enjoy snow! I know it'll be my third time getting to experience snow in Japan... but, still... I have a whole snowless lifetime to make up.... heh heh.

I have decided that tomorrow will mark the beginning of winter for me. I'm going ice skating... and thus... it will be winter.

For all of you that hate winter... I apologize in advance. As long as winter stays out of my apartment... then, I have no problems with it coming already and I'll be holding my arms open to welcome it... just remember... KEEP OUT OF MY APARTMENT!
