Animated Pee-pee's?

Last night's dinner... good! I had some チャーシューメン (chaashumen... the pork noodles) again.

Today's breakfast...

...

... oh man?

And not oh man in the good way. I feel horrible... but, I just couldn't swallow it at all. I almost threw up three times... and one of those times was when drinking the tea. To almost throw up liquid... you know it has to be bad.

I will add that I am a picky eater... so, just cause I couldn't eat it... doesn't mean it was bad necessarily. It was just bad for me. And don't ask me what I ate... because I really don't know... and quite frankly... I don't want to remember it either.

All I know is that next time... when given the option of Japanese breakfast or Non-Japanese breakfast, I'll be saying Non-Japanese breakfast. I didn't want to insult them by not choosing Japanese breakfast... but, now I think it might be more insulting to not eat half of the food and make faces the whole way through (which I really didn't mean to do either... it's just... I can't control my facial expressions).

But, at least I tried. And now I know without doubt that I won't be eating school lunch. They kept saying that it's cheap... but, if you do get it, that you should eat everything without making a face since they're into making sure kids eat healthy and everything without being picky. And, I know I won't be able to do that and will only get the kids thinking that if I don't eat something... they don't have to either. So, to simplify things... I'll just be bringing sandwiches. That seems healthy enough.

::shrugs::

Now... as for the title for this entry which I'm sure you're all waiting for a reference to it... heh heh. I was about to start typing this entry while watching a kid's show... it's basically how I get some Japanese listening practice. And they're two women (who I believe are twins now that I think about it) telling a children's story. Basically the two ladies are narrating (very creepily I have to add too... seeing that they're just narrating over the camera and circling it ) pictures. And... out of nowhere they shout and when I looked at the television, all I saw was a naked little boy drawing. I mean, they didn't go much into detail... but, it was obvious what it was. This is what they show children in this country... heh heh?

Well... I'm done... and unless I'm mistaken... this should be the last online entry for a while. Whenever I get internet access... I'll just transfer entries from a journal onto here.

Later all! Hope to catch you online soon! Or... as soon as possible... meaning... by the end of September at least... heh heh...

LMAO! I stopped watching TV when we were over there because I couldn't understand it. The commercials made no sense, so i can only imagine shows! Yay Green is the color of money, and weed..but not cocaine :o(..Too bad I don't do any of that! And i don't have money either. I'm glad you had a great train ride. But I'm really sad that I wasn't there to make fun of you for messing up so much, ya tard! You better get with the "internet" thing because I wanna know how your first day of being a sensei was!

It's Japan...not a Third World country...I'm sure you can find Internet at a Starbucks or something!!! Cause til the end of September if a pretty LONG time.

Yeah, as much as I'm up for trying new food, the whole idea of having fish and God knows what else for breakfast is not so appealing. The conbini sandwiches are ALWAYS a good choice! And you gotta find a bakery close by, too. We know how the Japanese bakeries are THE BEST!

When I was little, I remember that there was a cable box thingy that took Japanese shows and either dubbed them or at least showed captions in English...I wonder if you could find one to help you out a little? But then you'd miss all the nakey nuances...lol!

I found this place where I can use the internet... but, it's hard to communicate since I can't access American e-mails... or other American websites... they tend to be blocked... but, it seems as if this site and Myspace might be working for me... so, maybe I'll have some sort of access available. If not... I should be getting internet within the week... hopefully.

Gabie-

I actually liked the little kid shows... and I should hopefully be getting my phone soon which has a tv in it for free... so, I'll be able to watch tv... woot woot! Oh, and tomorrow will be my first day of being a teacher.

Jenny-

No... heh heh... it was a drawing of a naked kid... heh heh. Should be getting internet by this upcoming weekend... hopefully.

Jess-

As soon as the internet is available to me again... I'll be able to send my address to all... I just don't want to do it via this thing... to public... heh heh...

Well... it is like a third world country here in Ofunato... haven't seen a Starbucks and they only told me of this place being able to use the internet for free... it just doesn't let me access many pages though... :sigh:

Oh, and I did find an awesome bakery inside Ofunato's version of Izumiya... which is a few yards away from my apartment... \o/

Steph-

I remember you saying that... but, I don't mind the Japanese shows since I want to get accustomed to hearing Japanese.
