Didn't finish my entry from yesterday... kind of ran out of computer time... I really want internet already!
Just as I was gettin gready to call the rest fo the day unproductive... seeing that nothing significant really happened... I suddenly got approached by the cool male teacher. He is really funny... not that I know exactly what he says most of the time... but people are always laughing when he speaks. Forgot to mention that I acutally met his daughter at teh school I was at yesterday. She was one of the girls that said I was "bery kayuto!" and tried to hook me up with her teacher. He approached me in the morning and asked what school I went to yesterday... and when I told him, he said I met his daughter. He then went to tell me how his daughter was talking about me duyring dinner, and when she mentioned my name, he was like... "What?!? A Victor is going to my school tomorrow!" It's funnier when he explained it since his expressions are awesome. I also think he rocks because he makes a big effort to speak to me... and even tries in English though he isn't a JTE.
But, yeah... I tangented again... heh hhe... he began talking to me and asking questions. I greatly appreciated that since A) I was really bored waiting for my taxi, B) it meant that he was interested in me... meaning he could be my backer at the school, C) and mostly, seeing that he's like the funny one, everyone's likely to pay attention when he speaks. Surely enough, more and more teachers were listening to me talking, and i tried as much Japanese as possible. That way, teacher's are less threatened and realized I'm approachable. Though not very well, I managed to answer teh dude's and others' questions, and get complimentedabout my Japanese skills. he asked me if I understood hiragana, katakana, and kanji (different Japanese writing/alphabet) and I went on to show and describe that I was a better writer/reader than I was a speaker/listener. I showed him the notebook where I wrote a bunch of stuff in Japanese so I could practice saying it. That really drew in all the teachers, who were very impressed... especially when they saw some kanji (though it was only like 2-5). My taxi then arrived, so I had to say bey. A pretty good impression was made, mostly thanks to that teacher. He could verty well had been making fun of me the whole time (especially since I saw another teacher and him mimicking my gestures and words sometimes) but, making people laugh s always good! Even if it is at my own expense.
I also bonded with a principal who's English was very decent, but I had trouble understanding what principal he was. He went to explain how his name meant "right/correct," so I joked saying that he is always right... which got him to laugh. I responded by saying that my name meant "winner." I then continued by saying that he is always right... and how I am always a winner... heh heh...
And that about sums all of yesterday.

you had to say "bey" --> lol, typo
so his name is tadashii? I was wondering..do you wear your piercings around the kids? I know they're not allowed to have them in school so I was wondering if they asked you not to wear them to be "an example"
Did you show him your Victor Victory Dance? :o)
Heh heh... no I didn't... I'll work it in eventually.
