Rude Awakening

My alarm clock this morning... yup, it was an earthquake. It wasn't a strong one... but, it was the strongest of the earthquakes that occurred the past three days. It even left an after-earthquake-vibration for about 5 minutes... maybe it was my apartment building absorbing the shock? But, yeah... I guess it was the equivalent of the first earthquake I felt during training... but, as surprising as it might sound... I just woke up... shrugged the earthquake, and went back to sleep. If anything... it was kind of soothing... kind of like being cradled to sleep... heh heh... how maniacal does that sound?

Today is the last of my 5 day weekend... I'm glad to be going back to school. I won't have to struggle to come up with things to do... plus, on Friday after classes, I get to "play" with the teachers and go drinking in the night. Should prove very fun!

Yesterday Rob and I discovered this restaurant where they serve you raw meat... and you cook it in your small little grill like thing. I forgot the name of these kinds of restaurants... but, it was pretty cool! I was a bit disappointed that I didn't have my camera... but, Rob busted out with his so I took some pictures. And the meat was soooooooo good! It would be an ideal date place... at least I think... but, yeah... with two guys... it was just fun... heh heh...

Oh, and yesterday was also the Autumn Equinox... which is why I didn't have school. I think it's crazy how drastic and how quickly the weather changes. Even Japan's weather keeps on track with the time. The weather has dropped an average of 5-6 degrees celsius since yesterday. I thought it was just a coincidence at first... but, seeing that today is a nice, sunny day and it's still getting cooler, I'm beginning to think that that's just the way it is. About a week ago... it was hot enough for me to want to turn on my AC and take off all my clothes whenever I was in my apartment and basically sleep in only my underwear. Now, I'm okay with opening the windows... but, eventually close them cause I'm really cold. Not only that, but I almost froze to death sleeping last night in just my boxers... I woke up and put my long pj pants and put on a shirt and socks... so, yeah... a big difference in less than a week. I'm beginning to worry how cold it'll be once winter is actually here... Looks like my little sheets aren't going to do anything to keep me warm... so, I might have to start looking into buying a thick comforter soon.

Oh well... laterness!

Hmm, don't tell that to the thousands that died in China back in May. Well you couldn't, cause they're DEAD. Ay... :(

You can't go wrong with the Cindy Crawford Home Bed Set. Do it. Do it a lot.

I'm Marc and I approve this message... kinda.

Your comments are half the fun of this blog... thanks man... I really enjoy them and always get a good laugh... even if it does cover un-PC subects... "cause they're DEAD. Ay..."

I take your "Ay..." and raise it "Ay ay ay..."

Oh man... I nearly blew a gasket laughing at the fainting goats... there's a reason why God made it so I didn't find out about them until I was in Japan... cause, yeah... you know I would've gone out of my way to find them... and never stop scaring them...
