What is up with this month of September?
I can't count the times in the past week that I have thought it was October... and November is coming by soon.
But, then it hits me... dude... it's still September.
I don't know why, but this month has just seemed to drag on. Quite odd since... overall, I feel like this year has zoomed past. In fact, I still look back and am in disbelief that we are already almost at October... the 10th month of the year.
Then, on the other hand... I look at September alone, and wonder when the hell is this month ending?!?
This month hasn't been bad... in fact, quite far from it... the complete opposite even.
This month started off with Sport's Day practices... then the actual Sport's Day. Then there was an interesting drinking party with my teachers... then came my friends' wedding.
I guess... as exciting as this month was... I have a lot coming up.
For starters... I'm taking another company business class. Well... more like "coerced" into it. But, hey... it's good money.
Then I have the JLPT again... taking the next level. So, looks like I'll be needing to study and brush up on my grammar and kanji skills.
Next comes a Japanese speech contest. My friend did it last year... and ended up with the second place price. I heard that one finalist last year... read straight from a paper and got last place... but, still walked out with a pair of Tokyo Disneyland tickets... what the freak?!?
So, I think my chances are looking good... in fact, I wrote a speech last Friday that just came to me out of nowhere while eating lunch. And seeing that the speech won't be until like the beginning of next year... I'm looking pretty good so far.
So much for me being the King of Procrastination... I might be needing to find a replacement if this keeps up.
Anyway... with all these events piling up... maybe that's why Septembers been overshadowed some... making it never-ending.
Well... looks like I have a lot coming at me... and who knows what else?

There are prizes?? What did your friend win last year?
Yeah... different range of prices... and the Disney tickets were like on the bottom of the list. Think they had an oven... maybe a tv?
My friend ended up winning a 5-man yen gift certificate for Keisei. He didn't have anything he wanted to buy there... so he went to the mall in Uchihara where there's a store across from Jusco (2nd floor?) that you can trade gift certificates for money. You don't get all of it... think there's like a 4-sen yen fee... but, still a good amount of money.
