Time Stands Still

Ever experience a moment where time just stops...

You look around and you can see people moving, people doing their own thing... but, somehow... their reality is not part of your reality... or so it feels like that.

It's like I'm in my own bubble... observing the world rather than being a part of it.

I wish I could go deeper into this explanation... but, it's harder to explain. But, if you have experienced it... then you know exactly what I'm talking about.

I'm here in school... and though the beginning half of the day went fast... right now time just froze. And since I'm focusing on the time... it's going even slower than it should be.

I don't know what my rush is though... I don't really have anything to do... anything exciting happening. But, I look at the calendar and realize that next week is December already.

Why is that exciting me?

I just stare at the calendar and want it to be next week already... that way it can be December. Is it the inner child within me... am I really still that excited about Christmas... or is there some other underlying reason I just can't tell?

Well... for whatever the reason... the faster that today's work day ends... the faster that next week will be upon me.

But, until then... let me try and take in what's happening around me... whether it be while observing or partaking... just make sure to acknowledge all around you.

Later!

Today you are the oldest you have ever been, but the youngest you will be for the rest of your life.
