i went to Tokyo last weekend.
Strike two Tokyo... strike f-in' two!
I did have fun hanging with friends though... so, at least it was enjoyable... even if I still hate Tokyo... heh heh.
Our attempts to go clubbin' failed. They were being particular about someone wearing shorts and flip flops. Luckily, I came straight from work and lent my pants and socks to my friends. They let us in afterall.
Then... ten minutes in, they kick my firend out since she was still wearing the flip flops... even though they told us it was okay if she wore them with the socks and even though they let us in and we had paid and everything.
Bouncers were assholes... think they were part of that Nigerian Mafia deal that I experienced last time in Roppongi as well... and, I'm not joking... heh heh... I'm actually being serious... so annoying!
We decided to leave since our friend was outside. Only $10, people were rude and music wasn't very good... so, whatev yo...
Suprisingly, I wasn't tired though I had to work on a Saturday and had gotten up early. But, since everyone else was beginning to crash, I accompanied them to a capsule hotel and napped at 4:30. Two hours later... one of my friends was kicked out of the girl capsule hotel since her time was up. Though... it was weird since we were allowed to stay until 10 AM... it was 6:30 AM when she got kicked out. Since I had two friends from Miami coming to visit me and spend time with me in Tokai... I decided to leave with my friend so that I could meet my friends that should have arrived in Tokyo around that time. So... yeah... only got two hours of sleep... if we should even call it that.
Returned to Tokai with my two friends. Man... I'm having such a great time with them. I have met a lot of interesting, fun new people while living in Japan... but, truthfully... it's not the same as having your friends from back home visiting you and hanging with you... no offense.
You can be completely... without a doubt... 100% yourself and you can relive your old inside jokes... and, it's just hard to explain... but, I'm sure everyone in this situation can agree to is. I haven't laughed and enjoyed myself soooooooo much like I have with my friends in a long ass time. I must've nearly died from laughing a good 8 times already... including spitting out juice everywhere... since I was laughing too much.
I'm so grateful for the time I've been spending with them... even if it means I'm losing sleep due to it... heh heh. During the weekend alone... out of a 40 hour period... I only slept 2 hours... heh heh. But... it really is worth it!
You hear that other Miamian friends... come visit... IMA (RIGHT NOW)!!!!!

Aww Vic =) I'm glad we finally to see you too! It didn't even feel like 8 months had gone by...
Now that you mention it, it's the most fun I've had in Japan too. Whooping you in smash after months of trash talking felt goooood. >=]
