Poem 22 - Spiderweb

Tangled in your web
There's no escaping it,
The more I struggle,
The more I fight,
The more pointless it becomes.
You're a master in your attack,
Black widow, you prey on me.
It's all your fault
I tell myself.
But we both know the truth
Know it well.
I was vulnerable to your deceit,
I'm the one that attracted you.
Your devious ways,
The darkness you possessed,
A mystery it was not
You made it clear.
So now I lay in your web,
Helpless as ever,
Forced to wait,
Forced to suffer,
Until you devour me.
